Jonathan Miller

Born in Alberta, Jon has spent most of his life in the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario. He became a follower of Jesus Christ as a young boy, and got involved in a Christian summer camp as a teenager where he spent eight summers as a volunteer. It was through this experience that he developed a deeper faith in Christ and a heart to serve in ministry.

Jon graduated with a B.A. Economics from McMaster University, a M.A. Religion from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and is a graduate of the Arrow Leadership Program.  He has also pursued continuing education through Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and Tyndale Seminary.

Jon was ordained as a minister in 2007, and is now a licensed minister with the Christian & Missionary Alliance in Canada. He has spent 14+ years serving in pastoral ministry in churches in Barrie, Oakville and Burlington, Ontario.

Jon joined Prison Fellowship Canada in 2014 providing national oversight to the PFC volunteer network and programming across Canada. He currently provides oversight to the development of PFC ministry across Canada, including managing the PFC regional staff team to mobilize and engage local church partners in the ministry.

He is passionate about seeing lives transformed by Jesus and for Jesus.
