Jonathan Miller

Born in Alberta, Jon has spent most of his life in the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario. He became a follower of Jesus Christ as a young boy, and got involved in a Christian summer camp as a teenager where he spent eight summers as a volunteer. It was through this experienced that he developed a deeper faith in Christ and a heart to serve in ministry.

Following his studies at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario where he received a B.A. Economics, Jon studied at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois where he received a M.A. Religion. He has continued his graduate studies online through other seminaries in both Canada and the United States, and is also a graduate of the Arrow Leadership Program.

Jon was ordained as a minister in 2007. He has spent 12 years serving in pastoral ministry in churches in Barrie, Ontario and Oakville, Ontario, gaining valuable experience equipping leaders, overseeing programs and ministering to those in need. Jon is a licensed minister with the Christian & Missionary Alliance in Canada.

Jon joined Prison Fellowship Canada in 2014 providing national oversight to the PFC volunteer network and programming across Canada. He currently gives oversight to the regional development of PFC across Canada, including managing the regional staff team.

He is passionate about seeing lives transformed by Jesus and for Jesus.
