Every year, hundreds of thousands of children in Canada experience the stigma and loneliness of being separated from an incarcerated parent. This Christmas, you can help transform a child’s painful loss with one simple act of grace.

Please join us to give a child a special gift with a written gift tag from their incarcerated parent, letting them know they are never forgotten, and creating the joy of a lasting connection in Jesus’s love.

Here’s a message we received from a Caregiver:

Both of my daughters have had very little contact with their faither over the past few years. I oftentimes worry if they will ever have any kind of relationship with their dad. We usually don’t talk about it too much as it brings up a lot of emotional pain. When they both found out that the gifts were from their dad, they started tearing up. It was the first time in a long time that I overheard them speak about their dad.

Testimonies

Angel Tree has meant so much to my kids being on the receiving end for many years. For my daughter, it’s about sharing a moment with her Dad when she opens the gift on the phone with him. She really wanted to make that happen for someone else this year.”

“Just hearing how happy my children were made my heart melt and brought so much joy to me that I was crying because I was able to share my love with them through your program.”

– An Incarcerated Parent

My son is sixteen-years-old and has had almost no contact with his Dad for a long time now. But you should have seen his reaction when the woman brought him a gift from his Dad. Even if he appreciated the gift, he was even more impressed by the little message written by his Dad. He was trying to hide his emotion but I can see in his eyes that he was really moved.”

And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.
