Office Management
As our needs for our national and regional offices change, we also pray for wisdom to guide us in the change of layouts, processes, procedures, and for grace to navigate these changes well.

We pray that just as the prodigal son returned to His Father’s abundant care and provision upon returning home, we would see ex-prisoners returning to an abundantly supportive community upon release, adequately prepared in every way to receive them and see successful integration.
We pray over every aspect of this program, from chaplain relations, to prisoner applicants, to church sponsors, to financial contributors, to caregivers and these precious children. May the hand of the Lord rest firmly over all.
Lord, we pray for Your hand of protection over all of our Angel Tree sponsors who so selflessly venture to reach far out of their comfort zones to bless the lives of their neighbours in this wonderful way during Christmas. May Your hand be firmly upon each one as they travel, and may You work all […]
We pray for many open doors in the coming weeks and months to share with prisoners about the resources of PFC's Bridgecare Directory and Mentorship Program through in-prison workshops. May the Lord bring clarity to prisoners about the support offered for their journey.
Lord, we pray that You would continue to keep those whom You have called to Yourself from erring by the snares of the evil one. Give us wisdom also to overcome our own folly. May our lights shine brightly, and Your name be held in the highest honour throughout our lives.
Lord, we are so thankful for those caring people who stand in the gap for these little ones while a loved one is incarcerated, but we know that it can often place them directly in the line of additional and unexpected expenses. We ask that You would so generously overflow the lives of these caregivers […]
Lord, we know how earnestly You seek out the 'one.' As a national ministry, we pray that You continue to lead us to places where we can reach many, but also the 'one.' May You continue to direct Your favour toward us to enter the places where those who are ready to hear from You […]
Lord, we pray that You would shield our staff, volunteers, and supporters from the folly of presumption as we seek to follow You in the ways that You lead. In the things that offend our sensibilities, please give us a heart attentive to Your voice. Help us to not find offence in the things that would […]
Lord, we pray that Your hand is firmly upon every detail of our internal development projects, bringing to light the things we need to clearly see and clarity to those complex issues of systems integration so that our technology and workflow can support the growth of the ministry.
We thank the Lord and rejoice over those who have come forward to get involved with prison ministry in all its different capacities. We pray that the Spirit would speak and affirm each one toward the purpose for which He has called them.
Lord, we pray that just as You gave Your servant Bezalel a spirit of understanding, wisdom, knowledge and craftsmanship, You would also overflow our marketing team with the gifts of artistic design to serve in communicating Your heart for the prisoner, ex-prisoner, and their families in all of our marketing materials.
Lord, wherever there are prisoners whose hearts are stone or battling with feelings of emptiness this holiday season, we pray that You would seek out and find them and pour out Your Holy Spirit over them. Fill them with eternal life and direct them in the future and the hope You have for each one.
We continue to intercede for the local Christian church community as we trust the Lord is preparing His people for greater service to prisoners, ex-prisoners, and their families. May the Lord continue to inspire preaching and practical teaching through local congregations in light of the Holy Scripture.
At a time of year when many especially feel their need for connection, we pray that the PFC by Phone program will shine brilliantly all across Canada as a light in a dark place. We pray that the Spirit of wisdom will give each volunteer the very words of God intended by You to minister […]
Lord, how the earth longs for Your appearing glory! May this holiday season be filled with such a powerful and overwhelming sense of peace for all of the faithful staff, volunteers, partners and supporters who serve You in all the variety of ways that they do. May the fruit of their combined labours bring about […]
Lord, we pray for those prisoners who are currently going through The Forgiveness Journey curriculum in prisons all across Canada. We pray that Your love expressed through the cross would break the hardness and cause many to yield themselves to the greatest love this world has ever known.
Lord, we thank You for the wisdom and grace of our faithful ministry leader, Stacey Campbell. Continue to shield her from the flaming arrows of the enemy. Hide her in Your secret places, and give her continual favour to drive forward the ministry in the ways You have intended. We pray for a special word […]
Lord, we lift up Your faithful servant, Shirley Buchanan, and continue to pray that You will give her wisdom and clarity in her labours. May You etch out special times and seasons of restoration for her. May Your grace overflow to her in increasing measure.
Lord, we pray that there will be more and more opportunities for both the local church and prisoners to learn about the biblical meaning of justice. Let our lives be a faithful testimony of acting justly, loving mercy, and walking humbly with You.
We are so thankful for the gift of Your servant, Ashan Jayasinghe. We pray that You will firmly take hold of his life in new ways this season and abundantly pour out Your Spirit of grace over him. Shape him and mould him continually - along with all of us - into the image of […]
This year we had the blessing of many interns serving along in the ministry in a variety of capacities, and even though some have returned to school and other things (as is the nature of internships), we thank You for the gift of these connections and pray a special word of blessing over them in […]
Lord, as we think about those who struggle with different kinds of addictive behaviour and vice, we pray that You will continue to find unique ways to extend Your mercy towards them and help each one find their way into a loving community this Christmas season. We declare a word of freedom over all those […]
Lord, we thank You that little by little, we have seen every vision come to fruition throughout the year, and we continue to pray for dreams, insight, direction, resources, and the perfect time of culmination that brings each seed to the maturity of a fruit-bearing tree. Inspire and excite us with Your wonders, Lord!
Lord, we thank You that You bring us together in Your wisdom to sharpen us in just the right ways that we all need. We pray that You will continue to unify our team in even deeper unity and camaraderie. We pray that through us, everywhere we go will abound in the aroma of heaven.
This holiday season, by the same word that brought peace in the storm, Lord Jesus, we ask You to speak over the unsettled anxieties and fears of prisoners and assure them in an overwhelming measure that You are right there with them and that in You there is life everlasting.
Lord, we pray You would turn our hearts to You in quiet reflection over all the great things You have done and are still at work doing in our lives even now. May our Spirits rejoice in joyful thanksgiving at the wonders of Your grace continually at work in us and through us to the […]
We pray that every child across Canada whose parents participated in the Angel Tree Christmas program this year would wake up to the surprise of a very personal and touching gift from their incarcerated parent. We pray that these great memories will be lasting ones!
Lord, we pray that everywhere our staff, volunteers, partners and supporters may go, that we would so impact the world around us with such a testimony of something so unlike the ways of this world that those who witness it cannot help but inwardly proclaim that You are with us.
Lord, we pray that You would fill each member of our entire community with the gift of hopeful expectation. Let not the heaviness of situations, circumstances, or poor reports narrow our sights. Help us in all situations to always keep our minds and hearts fixed upon You.
Though large ships must often turn slowly, we pray that in every turn where You lead that our entire community will feel the confirmation in their own spirit to turn with us wherever You go. Unify us in our labours together and lead us to places higher than we can perceive.
Lord, we pray that You would overflow the hearts of prisoners everywhere across Canada with a song in their spirit from the throne room of heaven. We pray that the comfort that You give to us and call us to extend to one another will also overflow in the lives of prisoners, encouraging their hope […]
Lord, You have kept us by Your grace and saved us in more ways than we can recount. We bless Your name for continuing to provide for our every need in this ministry, and pray that You will go ahead of us and prepare the way for the things yet to come!
We pray that in the year ahead, we will continue to move closer and closer to the image Jesus imagined for us in His heart, both as a national community of reconciliation to prisoners, ex-prisoners and their families but also in the individual lives of our staff, volunteers, partners and supporters.
The Lord bless you and keep; The Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. We join together in prayer that this blessing may extend to our staff, volunteers, financial supporters and partners in the year ahead and always.
