We pray that every child who participates in Angel Tree Christmas this year would be deeply blessed through receiving a gift from their parents. We pray that this olive branch of selfless support from sponsors would stir up many to consider the mystery of grace.

We lift up the wonderful Bridgecare introductory work taking place at Maplehurst Correctional Complex to connect returning citizens to greater community support in their reintegration journey and ask the Lord to continue to raise up teams across the country to meet the growing needs of Bridgecare mentors.

We thank the Lord for the many longstanding Bridgecare client connections in our network and pray that the Holy Spirit is taking the conversation deeper, answering the prayer needs for jobs and housing for each unique situation, and helping clients to walk into a greater sense of identity.

We thank the Lord the many counsellors, psychotherapists, employment services workers, and support workers who help to aid our Bridgecare clients in their re-entry journey. We pray that the Lord continues to bless their work and ours as we continue to seek to understand each issue and the best way forward for the greatest efficiency and productivity.

We continue to remember government workers at every level of Corrections Canada and ask the Lord to continue to expand their understanding of the system and to raise up agents of change at every level of engagement with prisoners and corrections policy making.

We ask the Lord to blow His Holy breath over the atmosphere of correctional institutions across Canada and cause a major holy shift in the places where we need it the most. May we effectively move the work of the ministry forward into the new places that God inspires in our hearts.

As we enter the thick of the Angel Tree season, we pray for smooth administrative processes, lots of dedicated sponsors to meet every need, and for many blessed connections between prisoners and their children as well as families to community churches.
