JOIN PRISON FELLOWSHIP CANADA’S ANGEL TREE RIDE FOR HOPE 2022
Individuals, families, friends, and youth groups will be coming together to show their love and support for Prison Fellowship Canada’s work with prisoners, ex-prisoners and their families. This will be an opportunity to meet other PFC supporters and enjoy an afternoon of a bicycle ride or walk to raise funds for the Angel Tree programs.
What are the requirements?
Bike riders must wear helmets. Children ages 12 and under must ride with an adult. Riders must respect the right-of-way of walkers and use caution when passing. Cross roads only with the lights. All participants must sign the waiver.
How do I raise funds?
Sponsors who wish to donate online can do so and can allocate funds to individual participants. If you plan to raise funds through cash or cheques (made payable to: Prison Fellowship Canada), please print our Donation Form and bring the form and donations with you to the event. All tax-deductible receipts for gifts over $10 will be issued at year-end.

If I am walking, can I bring a stroller or wagon?
Yes! Please be mindful of safety.
How long will the route take?
Walking 10km? Plan for 90 minutes to 2 hours.

Riding 25km? Plan for 2-3 hours.
What deadlines do I need to be aware of?
In order to arrange for T-shirts, please register by August 9th. Although you can register up until event day, we will not be able to guarantee a T-shirt for late registrants. All funds should be submitted online or in person by Sept. 10th, 2022.
Is there any charge to participate?
No. However, this is a fundraiser, and we encourage you to do your best to recruit generous sponsorship for your efforts. Every dollar will directly support Angel Tree programs in your region.
There are over 357,000 children affected by parental incarceration in Canada. These children often carry the weight of shame and the stigmatization of their peers. At PFC we recognize the importance of the healing journey of the family of those who are incarcerated. The Angel Tree program offers a number of programs that help children know they are loved.
