We pray that the Holy Spirit will overflow our PFC community so that where we serve, everyone around us will know us by our love. May we be a blessing to correctional staff, chaplains, partner volunteers, and supporters and reflect the love of God everywhere we go.

We pray that many Angel Tree caregivers would feel drawn to the community Invitations of churches, and led to get connected to meaningful faith support. Just as the saying goes, ‘it takes a community to raise a child”, may caregivers find that community through the local church.

We ask the Holy Spirit to continue cultivate PFC ministry to move powerfully and effectively in the places where He has placed us. Cut away the things that do not bear fruit so that we may set our hands to the work that produce the best fruit pleasing to the Lord our Saviour.

We pray that key decision-makers will take notice of, and seek to partner with PFC in forwarding our mission/vision in the year ahead. We pray for every province across Canada and ask the Lord to draw those He has called and set apart for this ministry of reconciliation to prisoners, ex-prisoners, and their families. We pray for malleable volunteers who have a willingness to build up whatever the differing needs are in every region across Canada.

We pray for many opportunities throughout the coming year to honour our dedicated volunteers who selflessly give of their time and resources to serve a population that many easily turn away from. May the Lord inspire unique ways and opportunities for PFC to appreciate our volunteers for their faithful commitment.

We pray that this Christmas season is special and memorable to for the entire PFC community. Let each person have the opportunity to experience great food with friends, great memories with family, and a time of refocusing our faith for the year ahead.

We pray that every Bridgecare participant would have a loving, healthy, community to connect with this holiday season. We pray that you guard their minds and hearts from despair and etch out a place where each one can find friendship and fellowship this Christmas.

We pray that every prisoner caller in need of community would be met with volunteers who sacrificially give of their time this holiday season to receive calls. We pray that the Holy Spirit will guide these conversations and that both caller and operators will find comfort through these connections.

We thank God for every precious child who wakes up this morning to a gift from their incarcerated parent. We pray that the joy of these moments will be deeply remembered forever. We pray God’s blessing and protection over these Angel Tree families.

In the same way that a child wakes up with excitement to revisit their gifts from Christmas today, we pray that the Holy Spirit will restore the joy of our own hearts for all He has given to us.

We pray that prisoners experiencing issues related to their fathers would find their way to PFC’s new “Return of the Prodigal Son” book club. May they find solace in understanding that their Heavenly Father models perfect fatherhood and is always there for them.

We pray the end of this year will mark a new opportunity for prisoners across Canada to see the prospect of starting life anew, and we pray that these opportunities are met with the power of the Holy Spirit poured out liberally over all to empower the journey forward.

We thank the Lord for another year filled with wonder and hope. We give thanks for God’s provision and the grace He provides as each year we walk deeper into our understanding of His purpose for our lives. May our community continue to humbly surrender ourselves to His leading.
