  • Volunteer Encouragement

  • Camp Experience

We pray that all across Canada, children with an incarcerated parent would have the opportunity to attend an accredited summer camp through PFC’s Angel Tree Camping program. We pray that through the experience, these little ones would grow in confidence, maturity, leadership skills, and have lots of fun-loving memories.

  • Care for Caregivers

We lift up caregivers of prisoners’ children all across Canada and ask the Holy Spirit to draw them deeper into community-connections through local Christian churches. We also pray that the caregivers with Angel Tree children attending camp this summer, will find time for rest and renewal as well.

  • Employers

We praise the Lord for the answer to our prayers in sending us employers in the trades last month who are willing to employ the justice-affected. We pray that many more opportunities will continue to surface in every different work-field in major cities in Ontario.

  • Motor Skills Development

We pray that through the camp experience, children will continue to thrive in every respect of their personal development, including the development of their fine motor skills. We pray for advanced coordination development through play.

  • Tracing the Roots

We pray that the Holy Spirit would continue to move in the lives of all of those we serve, building safety and safe spaces around justice-affected individuals, highlighting the root of various struggles, giving insight on how to address them, and bringing greater freedom and liberty in the Spirit.

  • Creative Engagement

We pray for creative inspiration to overcome every obstacle in the ministry. We ask the Lord for wisdom in growing out PFC’s program reach; for favour in building church partnerships, for creativity in designing program materials that best appeal to the demographic we serve, and for imagination in modernizing our reach through social media platforms.

  • Letting Go

We pray that through PFC curriculum used both inside and outside of institutions across Canada, that those we serve will come to know the good things that Jesus has for each of us. We pray for courage for participants to rewrite their stories into a bold new narrative that doesn’t define them by their past, […]

  • Volunteer Support

We ask the Lord to stir up among the Canadian Christian church community a heart of wisdom in their pursuit of those estranged from God. We pray for wise and discerning volunteers who can sufficiently minister the Word of Life and attend to the call of walking with prisoners, ex-prisoners and their families.
