The Prairies

Saskatchewan

PFC is making significant strides in Saskatchewan. At the heart of our efforts, seven institutions now benefit from our PFC by Phone service, while ten others are actively participating in our Angel Tree initiatives.
Our Angel Tree Christmas program typically serves over 500 children each year, with some from the most remote corners of the province.

We are active with in-prison ministry at Regina Correctional Centre. As we further our mission, we’re seeking to strengthen our volunteer base in cities like Prince Albert, Saskatoon and Regina, to bolster both in-prison activities and our vital Bridgecare reintegration program.

Manitoba

Manitoba prison ministry is thriving with strong involvement in PFC by Phone, Faith & Justice in-prison ministry, Angel Tree Christmas and Camping as well as in-prison ministry. At Stony Mountain Federal Prison, PFC’s Sycamore Tree Restorative Justice program is resuming post pandemic, encouraging participants to explore their own stories and ultimate path to healing and freedom. The last Angel Tree Christmas program broke provincial records with 812 children of incarcerated parents being served in 2023. As we reflect on our journey and its milestones, we earnestly invite dedicated individuals to join us in our mission to make a lasting change.
