• The Gift of Giving

We thank God for every precious child who wakes up this morning to a gift from their incarcerated parent. We pray that the joy of these moments will be deeply remembered forever. We pray God’s blessing and protection over these Angel Tree families.

  • Joy Unending

In the same way that a child wakes up with excitement to revisit their gifts from Christmas today, we pray that the Holy Spirit will restore the joy of our own hearts for all He has given to us.

  • Fatherlessness

We pray that prisoners experiencing issues related to their fathers would find their way to PFC’s new “Return of the Prodigal Son” book club. May they find solace in understanding that their Heavenly Father models perfect fatherhood and is always there for them.

  • Passion Restored

We lift up the faint-hearted prisoners who have been discouraged through choices or circumstances and pray that the Holy Spirit will flip-the-script of the self-talk that empowers these feelings. May the songs of the Spirit that fueled the Apostle Paul to worship in prison fill the minds and hearts of the incarcerated to fight these […]

  • Guard Our Hearts

We pray that the Holy Spirit would utilize this holiday season to help us unravel all the experiences of this year as our community continues to strive to see the light of God’s hope reach the darkest places across Canada. Refresh us, heal our hearts, change our perspective, and set our feet firmly upon the […]

  • Turn-Around

We pray the end of this year will mark a new opportunity for prisoners across Canada to see the prospect of starting life anew, and we pray that these opportunities are met with the power of the Holy Spirit poured out liberally over all to empower the journey forward.

  • The End of a Thing

We thank the Lord for another year filled with wonder and hope. We give thanks for God’s provision and the grace He provides as each year we walk deeper into our understanding of His purpose for our lives. May our community continue to humbly surrender ourselves to His leading.

  • Anticipation!

We look forward to all the meaningful ways that Jesus will speak to each of us and lead PFC's ministry throughout the new year, and we ask the Holy Spirit to quicken our spirits to heed His prompting and surrender so we might continually see His goodness shine over us.

  • PFC By Phone

We ask the Lord to raise up many mature female volunteers to fill the outstanding gaps on the PFC By Phone line. We pray for wisdom and grace for those serving to know how to tend to every direction a call might go in. We pray for protection, peace and joy over all those who […]

  • Bridgecare

We thank the Lord when we see the church rising up to wrestle through the real-life difficulties of walking with ex-prisoners learning to navigate the complexities of returning to community. We pray that these efforts go far, but also unearth new depths of maturity and calling in PFC Bridgecare volunteers.

  • Angel Tree Wrap Up

We thank the Lord for the amazing effort of our entire PFC community in this past year, serving another 4,900+ children through Angel Tree Christmas! We ask the Holy Spirit to firmly establish the gift of connection between incarcerated parents with their children, and caregivers with sponsor communities.

  • Volunteer Vision

We thank the Lord for our entire PFC community who so faithfully gives of their time and resources to serve Jesus to the prisoner and ex-prisoner population. We pray that the Spirit would inspire a strong vision along with ample encouragement for their journey in the year ahead.
