• New Brunswick Development

We ask the Lord to raise up wise and discerning volunteers who live in close proximity to every provincial and federal institution across New Brunswick. We ask for open doors to effective ministry. We pray for connections that go deep and not just wide. We ask the Lord for His favour in New Brunswick.

  • Nova Scotia Development

We ask the Lord to raise up many Bridgecare churches in every city across Nova Scotia for returning citizens. We also pray for an outpouring of resources to support all the varying needs of ex-prisoners.

  • Île-du-Prince-Édouard

We ask the Lord to create new opportunities for greater program support at provincial institutions. We pray that PFC would have more opportunities to engage prisoners with the Faith & Justice curriculum series. May the Spirit go before us and prepare the hearts of prisoners to receive it.

  • Newfoundland Development

We thank the Lord for the earnest efforts of Newfoundland volunteers in Angel Tree, In-Prison, Bridgecare, and PFC By Phone. May the Lord give rest to his beloved children in due season, and joy in His service.

  • Volunteer Appreciation

We pray that the Lord will inspire and etch out unique ways for PFC to honour the labours of our dedicated volunteers all throughout the year. We pray that the Holy Spirit is continually affirming each volunteer in their calling and providing nurturing, pruning, and growth along the way.

  • Prisoner Resources

We pray for ministries like Canadian Bible Society who help to provide Bibles for prisoners. May their every need be provided for so that prisoners can continue to have the resources they need to use their time away to grow deeper in their faith understanding. We pray that no prisoner will lack access to a Bible.

  • Encouragement de l'aumônier

We pray for chaplains across Canada. We know the commitment and endurance required to serve prisoners’ religious needs daily and pray that these dedicated chaplains find comfort by the Holy Spirit. We pray protection, strength, favour, and grace over each chaplain.

  • Intimacy with God

We pray for all the prisoners who have attended PFC’s Faith & Justice curriculum in the past years and pray that the teachings of Jesus lead to a deeper intimacy with God for each one of them. We pray that the Holy Spirit has firmly planted the word of life in each of them that […]

  • The Right Fit for The Job

As we continue to build up the ministry this coming year, we pray that the Lord would give us clarity and highlight the right people to us that will help to lay a strong foundation for the vision for PFC future developments. We pray that we can see in the many resumés, the person God has equipped and called […]

  • The Song of Breakthrough

We pray that more of our in-prison curriculum will begin (or end) with worship and praise and that prisoners will experience the breakthrough that comes from lifting up the Name of the Lord. We pray for opportunities for songs of the Spirit to break out in every place where the teachings about Jesus are advocated for […]

  • Social Media Communication

We thank the Lord for our National Programs Coordinator, Makkedah William, and ask the Lord to continue to lead her deeper in her faith and work, and to inspire creativity that helps to communicate the breadth of PFC ministry with the public through our various social media platforms.

  • Développement personnel

We pray over all of our staff, volunteers and PFC community that the Holy Spirit will continue to cultivate what He began in us when He first called us and set us apart for this ministry. We pray to grow more effective as faith-leaders and that we will humble ourselves to the Lord’s pruning as […]
